RESTORATIVE TRAINING

SATURDAY & SUNDAY, OCTOBER 7-8

Restorative yoga is a practice that brings you back to balance and creates the space for your body to relax and rejuvenate.

This 2-day training is open to students and teachers of all levels who are looking for a deep dive into the power of a restorative yoga practice. You will learn to expertly set up restorative yoga poses for yourself and other people, hold space for deep rest and healing, and use props skillfully to support students at all levels. By the end of this experience, you will feel spacious and have the knowledge and tools you need to establish your own personal restorative yoga practice or teach restorative yoga for others.

This training will be 50% lecture and 50% practice and can be counted towards Yoga Alliance Continuing Education Credits if desired.

NEW MOON WORKSHOP

The new moon is when the sun and moon are at the same place in orbit. This is a merging of masculine and feminine energy, and its been said that this phase creates a connection between conscious and unconscious mind and heightens our intuition.

During the new moon circle, participants will learn about the Zodiac sign the moon is in at the time of the circle, how to work with the energy of the zodiac and moon to set intentions and how to continue working with their intentions through out the lunar cycles.

We will start by learning about the moon's phases and the significance of the new moon. We'll do asanas to connect mind/body and come into the present moment, go through a meditation, do some journaling to see where our subconscious and conscious minds might be leading us to set an intention. Then, we will do an intention setting ritual. Throughout, there will be opportunities for participants to share and learn from each other.

Time: 5:30pm - 6:30pm
